New from the Virtual Museum of Canada

I continue to be impressed with the projects being developed under the Virtual Museum of Canada program. Museum Anthropology recently recieved a new VMC e-newsletter, which featured new projects within the program. The newsletter is available here.

Of possible special interest to readers of Museum Anthropology is Koluskap: Wolastoqewi-atkuhkakonol - Stories from Wolastoqiyik. This exhibit explores the arts and cultures of First Nations peoples in the St. John's River watershed. It "is a creation of the New Brunswick Museum and honours the teachings of the Wolastoqiyik ancestors."

Three VMC digital exhibitions were reviewed in Museum Anthropology 29(1) and additional reviews are in the works.
