CFP: Michael Ames Panel for AAA

Christina Kreps, a past editor of Museum Anthropology and director of the museum at the University of Denver has posted the following call to the CMA listserv.

I have been considering trying to organize a panel for this year's AAA meeting to honor and acknowledge the contribution Michael Ames made to museum anthropology. As most of you probably know, Professor Ames passed away last year. I believe he was one of the first to start theorizing the museum and museum practices, and did a great deal to push the field forward. Anyone interested in being on a panel and/or helping organize one please contact me at ckreps@du.edu
