Mike Wesch's Digital Essay

Mike Wesch, a cultural anthropologist at Kansas State University, has created a compelling digital essay illustrating the potential of the digital essay form and exploring the opportunities afforded by scholarly production, circulation, and consumption in new media. It has recently been posted (and blogged about) on Savage Minds. You can find it in YouTube, but it makes sense, I think, for anthropologists and friends to watch it in the context of the Savage Minds discussion. This is a great evocation of our current moment and a useful point of departure for conversation.
