Museum Directorship + Instructorship

Santa Rose Junior College, in California, has posted an interesting job on the AAA Careers page. It is for a person to teach anthropology and direct a campus museum with a 3500 piece collection of "ethnic and tribal art." They have two anthropology openings. I am calling attention to the first of these. Details can be found here.
Anthropology Instructor/Museum Director

A multi-discipline anthropologist prepared to teach introductory courses in all areas of anthropology. Principal teaching assignments will include large-lecture auditorium sections of more than 100 students. This position also includes the Directorship of the Jesse Peter Multicultural Museum that curates and displays a 3,500 piece collection of ethnic and tribal art. We are seeking a dynamic and charismatic individual who will be dedicated to working with community college students in both large auditorium settings and small classes. The position also requires the skills to direct a highly visible campus museum. The successful candidate should have the ability to create exhibit themes, supervise the curatorial needs of a large museum collection and raise funds for museum projects. This position also involves representing the College and the Jesse Peter Museum to a wide range of community groups, including multiple Native American, Latino, Asian-American, and other organizations. It is important that the successful candidate is committed to participating in department activities and college service, such as directing the museum and serving on department and college committees.
