In coming days we will highlight contributions appearing in the issue, but tonight I am happy to note that the next issue of Museum Anthropology, volume 30, number 1 (Spring 2007) has just appeared in AnthroSource. One can consult the Table of Contents here and, with an institutional subscription or AAA membership, gain access to the full content. With 24 contributions from great scholars from around the world, I hope that it offers at least a little something for everyone. I want to extend my appreciation and thanks to the many talented folks (ethnologists, social anthropologists, archaeologists, art historians, folklorists, textile specialists and others) who contributed such fine work to this issue of the journal.
Most importantly, I want to thank the membership of the Council for Museum Anthropology, whose dues go to support the publication of the journal. If you are benefiting from the journal but not a CMA member, now is a time in which becoming a CMA member could make a giant difference in the journal's future, as well as the field's. CMA members receive the print edition of the journal as a benefit of membership. These, by the way, should appear in mailboxes sometime in the next few weeks.
On a similar note, if you are associated with an institution that could subscribe to AnthroSource but which has not done so yet, please lobby for it. A growing CMA membership and a growing list of AnthroSource institutional subscribers are two keys to insuring the future of the journal.
