JOB DESCRIPTION
Sex! Monsters! Cannibalism! Topics that will fascinate current audiences and entice new visitors to explore our museum. We are currently looking for a Curator of Hot Topics who is grounded in anthropology, has the ability to become an expert on any topic, and is open to new ideas and an innovative approach to exhibitions. Strong candidates will have anthropological training, experience working in museums, and an ability to cross over from the academic to the popular. Key criteria for selecting applicants will be their sophisticated use of language and humor as they communicate complex and often sensitive topics to a broad audience. The curator will act as a spokesperson for the museum, so previous experience with the media would be a strong asset.
