As many of you know NMNH has been privileged to host the exhibit Tuku Ihu: Living Legacy in NMNH’s Q?rius space since July 22nd. The exhibit brings to NMNH 70 Maori cultural objects, tattooing, the making of a canoe and cultural performances. The show emerges from the work of the New Zealand Maori Arts and Crafts Institute (NZMACI) and is the result of a collaboration between the New Zealand Embassy, NZMACI and NMNH.
For those of you that have not had a chance to see any of the programing it ends Sunday. Here is a link to the daily schedule.
