We are looking for an outstanding and highly motivated interdisciplinary scholar who is looking to explore new and cutting-edge research directions in museum studies and who would be willing to take a leadership role in our Museums and Collections program. An established publication record or the potential to develop a strong research profile is necessary.

Key responsibilities of the position would be to design and deliver a broad Museum Studies curriculum (museum history, theory, practice, research methods) at postgraduate and undergraduate levels and that ensures students gain a comprehensive and critical understanding of the theories, history, techniques, and problems common to museums. The successful applicant would also be expected to coordinate postgraduate internships, and develop and consolidate links (for research and teaching collaborations) with museums and collections in Australia or internationally.
